DELTA_01
DELTA_01 is NRV's CX3-based USB event camera for standard event-stream acquisition, software bring-up, and neuromorphic vision application development.
It is positioned as the 1Gbps-class entry model in the DELTA series, providing a practical USB camera platform for users who want to evaluate DELTA camera technology, capture event data, and build event-based vision pipelines.
Overview
DELTA_01 captures asynchronous visual events from a neuromorphic image sensor and streams them to the host system through a USB interface.
Unlike conventional frame-based cameras, event cameras generate data only when brightness changes occur at each pixel. This enables low-latency sensing, efficient motion-driven visual processing, and high temporal-resolution observation of dynamic scenes.
DELTA_01 is suitable for camera bring-up, event-stream visualization, algorithm evaluation, sensor characterization, and research-oriented prototyping.

Note: The USB controller class and the DELTA product class refer to different criteria.
The CX3 controller provides a 5Gbps-class USB interface, while DELTA_01 is positioned as NRV's 1Gbps-class practical event-streaming model. This distinction reflects the difference between controller-level interface bandwidth and product-level streaming configuration.
CX3-Based USB Architecture
DELTA_01 uses a CX3-based USB camera controller architecture. In the DELTA product lineup, this model is intended for standard USB-based event-stream acquisition and software-level evaluation.
The CX3 controller acts as the bridge between the camera-side sensor interface and the host-side USB connection. This allows users to access event data through a practical USB workflow without directly handling low-level sensor interface details.
